Join us for Shabbat Services
Our regular Shabbat Service begins at 6:45 pm. This week, our services will feature the 4th and 5th grade classes. Saturday Morning Shabbat Service is at 10:00 am with our weekly Torah Study from 9-10 am. TOR Hineni Committee Wants YOU to do a Mitzvah        
The Hineni Group is reinstating the Lotsahelpinghands website to coordinate providing meals, transportation, and visits to people who are ill and in need.We need your help! Please sign up to be notified of needs in our community. This will mean that you receive emails about upcoming needs and can sign up to fill them on the website calendar.

TOR Food Closet
The Food Closet is open whenever TOR's doors are open, Tuesday-Saturday and on Sunday when Religious school is in session.  We hope you will come in if the need arises and help yourself to whatever you want.
 
 
 
 
 
 
COMMUNITY EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
Volunteer with Jewish Family Service
JFS is looking for volunteers to visit with homebound seniors. Many of our seniors are homebound, not able to drive, and have little contact with other people. They are in need of a friendly visitor on a regular basis, if possible. Contact Community Social Worker, Rebecca Ray, at 916-205-0688 for more information.
 
Shabbat Shalom Sacramento
Volunteer to make Shabbat on a Friday afternoon with Jewish residents at local senior facilities. Transportation for Seniors
Do you use ParaTransit? The Jewish Federation has been awarded limited grant funding from the Jewish Community Foundation of the West to provide Taxi, ParaTransit, or Regional Transit vouchers to Jewish seniors who are home-bound or no longer able to drive.
